Recycling

When we deliver your new appliance, for a small charge of £10 we'll remove your old appliance and any package from your new appliance.

Delivery Addresses

When buying by online, we only deliver to the address that matches the billing address of the credit card or debit card holder (unless approved by a member of the sales team before ordering). This is to protect our customers against any potential card fraud .

Payment & Site Security

Sage Pay provide a cost effective gateway which allows our customers to securely make payment for goods from our website.

Sage Pay's high levels of encryption maintain the security and privacy of all card details.

Our Sage Pay accounts allow direct payment of items using any major credit card, without the need for you to set-up an account!

PRICES AND PAYMENT

All prices listed on samsyerman.co.uk are displayed in UK pounds sterling. Payment can only be taken in UK pounds sterling. The Euro rate is a guide only and subject to the exchange rate offered by your bank or credit card company.

They are all inclusive of VAT (but not standard delivery within Ireland)

We accept payment from major credit cards (with the exception of American Express & Laser), Debit Cards and by Cheque.

Cheque payment will be subject to acceptance procedure and cheque clearance before delivery can be arranged. This may take up to 10 days.

Cheques to be made payable to "Sam's Electrical Superstore" with your order reference wrote on the back of the cheque.

Processing of Orders

Credit and Debit Cards will be debited before items are shipped.

We take every care to ensure that the description and specifications of our products are correct. The colours used on this website are as close a representation as possible to the actual product, however we cannot accept responsibility for any variations in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used by you.

BUYING OVER THE TELEPHONE

Please read these product terms and conditions carefully as they set out the terms under which Sam's Electrical Superstore makes the products available to you ("product Terms"). They only apply to goods purchased by telephone as per the Distant Selling Directive.

The prices payable for the items that you order are expressed inclusive of any VAT payable. The price of the items does not include delivery charges.

You can pay with any Maestro, Delta, Mastercard or Visa card. Authority for payment must be given at the time of order. It may be necessary to re-confirm your security number for data protection reasons. Payment will be taken for out of stock items to secure stock, only if you're happy to proceed with the order and agree to wait for the goods.

When buying by telephone, we only deliver to the address that matches the billing address of the credit card or debit card holder. This is to protect our customers against any potential card fraud.

If you are buying goods for a family member or if you our a business or landlord and the cardholder and delivery address are not the same you must discuss the payment and delivery/collection options with a representative.

If for any reason beyond our reasonable control, we are unable to supply a particular item, we will notify you as soon as possible. Offer an alternative or a full Refund.

There will be no contract of any kind between you and us until payment for your goods is authorised by your bank or credit card issuer. At any point up until then, we may decline to supply to you without giving any reason. At the moment that payment for the goods is authorised, and not before, a contract will be made between you and us. Authority for payment must be given at the time of the order. If for any reason the goods cannot be supplied then payment will be refunded in full.

It is important to note that product dimensions do not include any protruding features such as, controls and handles etc. Product dimensions represent the casing of the product only.

If you wish to cancel your goods, we ask that you advise us within 7 days of receiving them. We reserve the right to charge for the collection of goods and to charge for any damage to the goods while in your possession. You must notify us in writing during this period of your intention to cancel.

Goods must be returned in there original packaging unused and in perfect condition

RETURNS POLICY Faults

The customer shall inspect the products immediately on delivery and shall within 7 days of delivery notify us of any damaged goods, defects or discrepancies. Any physically damaged products must be returned to us in the original packaging.

Cancellations

We retain the right to levy a charge of up to 15% of the cancelled order value on orders to cover delivery, administration and handling costs. This also applies to non-collection from the Post Office.

Exchanges

We are happy to exchange a product within 14 days of purchase on the condition that they have not been used. Unfortunately we cannot offer this service on products that have been opened, are no longer in there original packaging or have been damaged by the customer during fitting!

Returns Procedure

Please inform us in writing or by email before the goods are returned in order to obtain a returns number.

We do not accept liability for packages damaged during transit and proof of postage is not proof of delivery. We strongly advise you to send your packages by recorded delivery, registered post or courier to maintain sufficient insurance cover to the value of the goods.

The cost of return carriage is to be borne by the customer – this will be refunded in full if the product proves to be defective. We do offer a collection service for your convenience.
